Logging miles on the MODEX floor.

Team Tinnacity took on the massive show floor in Atlanta for MODEX 2026! Our very own Joe Hewis and Brady Fleming logged miles walking the floor, connecting with industry leaders and exploring the latest advancements in supply chain, logistics, and material handling automation.

The biggest takeaway. For most equipment companies, technicians remain the “missing link” in the tech stack. While sales thrives in the CRM and finance lives inside the ERP, service technicians are all too often stranded on “DMS Island” or left buried under manual paperwork.

  • Bridging the data vacuum — when service data is siloed, equipment businesses are flying blind. We discussed how integrating technician workflows prevents data gaps and unlocks efficient scaling.
  • Rescuing the “DMS Island” — moving teams away from isolated paper processes, bringing technicians out of the shadows and directly into core business data.
  • Service as a growth engine — reimagining field service not just as a cost center, but as a strategic driver that optimizes fleet uptime and boosts the bottom line.

An unforgettable week in Music City.

Team Tinnacity had an inspiring week connecting with the material handling community at MHEDA 2026! From powerful presentations to high-energy networking, our team walked away with a packed roadmap of strategic insights and a real sense of momentum for the future of material handling innovation.

Inspiration in action. A deeply moving keynote by John O'Leary (“Live Inspired”) truly blew our team away, leaving everyone energized and ready to push the boundaries of what we do.

Showtime on the floor. Our time at the Exhibitor Showcase was an absolute highlight. It gave us the chance to connect face-to-face with industry leaders who share our passion for redefining field service. Between showing how Tinnacity streamlines dealer operations and hosting some serious fun at our booth, the energy from the crowd was unmatched!

And the grand prize winner is… We added some extra fun to the showcase floor with our ultimate Buc-ee's giveaway! A massive congratulations to Raelee from Frontier Forklifts, who walked away with a one-of-a-kind cooler packed full of iconic treats and gear.

A huge thank you to the entire MHEDA organization, the event speakers, and every single person who stopped by our booth to talk shop, share insights, or just say hello. We left the convention more inspired than ever to keep driving tech-forward efficiency across the industry!

Feature spotlight: your data working for you.

See our highlighted features for the quarter. We shipped numerous new advancements across the platform; here we spotlight two that put your data to work automatically, right where you already work.

Ask your data anything — introducing Tinnacity Intelligence. Tinnacity Intelligence lets AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT connect into your platform through the new MCP Connector. Once linked, your team simply asks them questions about your Tinnacity data and gets live answers. No menus, no reporting, no waiting. No more navigating multiple screens before your morning huddle, and it works with Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI).

How to access it: open Company Settings › Integrations in Tinnacity HQ, select Claude or ChatGPT and authorize via OAuth, then start asking questions. Setup takes about two minutes.

Track smarter — live telematics now in Tinnacity. Tinnacity now connects to five leading telematics platforms. GPS location and hour-meter readings flow directly into your equipment records. No manual entry, ever.

  • Hour meters stay updated in HQ — daily automated syncing pulls current hour-meter readings directly into your equipment records, ensuring maintenance tracking is always based on fresh data.
  • One-tap map location — technicians tap the map icon on the Equipment Card inside the Service App to instantly view the unit's live GPS location right from the field.
  • Smarter work order validation — compare real-time telematics coordinates side-by-side with your system's recorded “Ship To” address, making it easier to confirm exact machine locations before dispatching.
  • Supported platforms — JCB LiveLink, HAPN, XQ 360, XOMTRAX and GEMONE (Onyx). Don't see your system? Email help@tinnacity.com to request it.

A vision for digital empathy in 2026.

We are thrilled to share that Tinnacity is featured in the April 2026 edition of Associated Equipment Magazine.

Flip to page 48 for a “Letter from the CEO,” a thought leadership piece by our founder, Dave Tinnerman. Dave dives into “The Proactive Dealership: Elevating the Trade Through Digital Empathy,” exploring how we can better support the “boots on the ground” by bridging the gap between back-office tech and the technician experience.

Out in the field. In the room that matters.

Joe Hewis headed to the MHEDA East Coast Regional Summit for a day packed with insight, real conversation, and high-value industry connections. From exploring the state-of-the-art Hänel Storage Systems facility to diving deep into today's biggest operational hurdles, the energy in the room truly highlighted the collaborative spirit of the material handling network. MHEDA consistently does an excellent job creating environments where meaningful, forward-thinking dialogue can happen!

Connecting with the community, one stop at a time. Missed Joe in PA? Brady and Katie are headed to Chicago next, for the Emerging Leaders Conference.

  • Tackling the workforce challenge — featured speaker Cherie Shepard shared insights on closing the skills gap, and how giving technicians the right digital tools drastically improves the onboarding experience.
  • The pulse of the community — from emerging business trends to navigating shared service hurdles, the energy in the room highlighted the strength and collaborative spirit of the material handling network.
  • Listening directly to dealers — events like these give us the chance to hear real-world pain points firsthand, making sure our “Tech for Technicians” approach keeps solving what actually matters.

Coming in Q3: the conversation doesn't stop here. The video web-series versions of Episodes 4 to 6 will land on YouTube over the next few months, plus a brand-new lineup of inspiring guest stories dropping later this year. Stand by to see who we feature next!
